Oakland Wildflower Farm

Welcome!

I am beginning my 8th growing season here at Oakland Wildflower Farm, unfortunately a bit late. I've experienced a few setbacks this spring that I am still recovering from.

What does this mean to availability and retail dates???

Availability: I am currently monitoring those plants that overwintered to determine exactly what is alive, so availability is unknown unless you inquire directly and I tell you otherwise.

Retail Dates: I have made the decision to only sell by appointment this year. I may amend this decision later in the season.

I am still available to consult as well as just chat about native plants.

Purple ConeflowerOakland Wildflower Farm is a "Grower and Educator" of Michigan native plants. We are located in Brandon Township between Ortonville and Oxford in northern Oakland County. We grow a variety of native wildflower, grasses, sedges, ferns, shrubs, and trees. Each plant's seed originated in Michigan, mostly southern Michigan. We strive to collect seed from as close to our nursery as possible. All seed sources are documented and seeds are Michigan geno-type, unless otherwise noted.
